Another stitched drawing is in the works.
Here you can see how I resize my initial drawing to the size I want to stitch. It involves a photocopier, a window and some tape.

This one is a selfie. I'll save the rest of the story for when the piece is done.
Meanwhile, I spent the weekend (our annual guild retreat) working on some piecing.
Truthfully, I mostly worked on visiting, eating, laughing and hanging out with my quilting buddies with the occasional stint at my machine. But, these quilts (twins) will be full of happy energy when they're done!

I've nibbled away at this project twice a month (guild sew days) for over a year now. All of the four- and nine-patch units are done. As soon as these arrowheads are ready I can start putting blocks together. Yay!
Now, I'm off to wear my Jury Coordinator hat. I've reviewed the entries for the Canadian National Juried Show and it's almost time for the jurors to get to work. Exciting times ahead for Canadian quilters!
In case you don't know, Quilt Canada will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba this year. I'll be there as a scribe in the judging room, an NJS tour leader, and a lecturer. Maybe I'll see you there!

Until next time,
